This week is crunch week because my paper is due a week from today! Agh, that is crazy and scary how fast this project/time went. WOW! Anyways, since this is a very busy week, I really need to be extra productive and plan my time well. Here it is...

Right now, as I am going through my data from my survey, I am so upset. For the question "how do you feel after sleeping?" the answer is pretty much all tired. I'm sad that we all are part of a culture that makes us be so tired. I am sad that we all accepted that is how it is. I am sad because I just feel so bad for the whole community and the tiredness we all share. So many students have gotten used to the constant sleep-deprived state that they are in, that they don't even know what it is like to be functioning as our best selves. That really upsets me. We can't even give our bodies a basic need. Agh, and I totally understand how hard it is to get good sleep/enough sleep, especially with school fighting against us. I just wish we could give our bodies the time needed to rest so we can feel better.
This week I need a second draft done by the end of the week. I still need students thoughts on the topics in order to complete the "how do students feel about these issues?" paragraph. Most of this week I will be trying to complete the paper, specifically the interview/adult perspective paragraph. As well, I will be doing some more research for suggestions to make at the end of the paper. I feel like I am in a good place for the May 6th deadline for the paper.
This week being vacation week, I am not going to post a day to day plan because I feel like it might change depending on what my plans change to be. I am going to have a first draft done with all the paragraphs I can complete right now. There are some I need to wait to do until after break. Instead of a plan, I will post a to-do list that will help me get my first draft done.
Things to do this week:
This week my goal is to have interviews completed and focus groups completed. After talking with Mr. Finnegan (the teacher who runs Caps) I realized I am gonna approach focus groups in a different way, therefore causing that task to run into the following week. I have all the interviews I want to complete set up for this week, so I am on schedule for that. I have decided I need to brainstorm before I start writing for next week. During some of my blocks I will listen to the interviews and write down the main points I want to include in my "adult perspective paragraph", as well as work on getting my ideas developed a bit more before next week. Here is what my daily plan looks like for this week!
